6 am – 7 am

We make breakfast and eat together, then tidy up the kitchen.

We use the next hour to have a snack and do crafts or learning activities. I do at-home preschool with my son and set up simple 1-year-old activities for my daughter.
10 am – 10:45 am
Free play in the kids’ rooms. My one-year-old usually needs more help with free play and can end up just hanging out with me while I tackle our cleaning schedule. But my son enjoys this time to play with Legos or other small toys that his sister can’t have.
We also use this time for quick errands if we have any.

I prepare lunch, and we eat together at the table.
